Soda blasting is a non-abrasive paint stripping procedure using non-toxic sodium bicarbonate. Unlike sandblasting, baking soda blasting removes paint, dirt, grease, and oil from the surface being blasted, leaving it clean, smooth, and undamaged.
Soda blasting is non-abrasive and does not affect metal, glass, or chrome. It does not produce heat, which prevents warping. Treated surfaces are left undamaged and smooth, leaving little time-consuming, costly prep work for new paint to be applied. Soda is also a rust inhibitor.
With our new product, Maxxstrip, we can also remove heavy rust without damaging, heating, or warping the surface. Maxxstrip is a non-corrosive way to remove heavy rust damage while leaving the panel intact.
Baking soda blasting can also be used for cleaning and removing paint on automotive parts. Parts can be cleaned without altering that part's specifications. For example, a piston can be cleaned without changing its tolerances, leaving it in perfect working order.
