Surface Preparation

Using our soda blasting system, we can clean irregular and problem surfaces such as sub floors and multiple building cavities which otherwise would be both labor intensive and difficult to clean by manual scrubbing and vacuuming.

Restoring buildings and historical structures requires products that are capable of removing tough coatings effectively, without damaging the surface. UMI's restoration products provide a safe and effective way to remove coatings and are also economical, environmentally-friendly, and non-toxic. Our restoration abrasives are safe to use on delicate surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete, marble, tile, etc.

Soda blasting can be safely used in all situations. Its development stemmed from the need to clean the Statue of Liberty without damaging the delicate structure or copper surface, and without contaminating the surrounding area.
